此扩展程序可在文本中查询基因符号。
每隔几分钟就用 Google 搜索一个基因，只为了解基本信息，是不是很烦？
此扩展程序让你可以方便地在文本中查询基因符号，从而缓解这一困扰。你只需选中一个人类基因符号，扩展程序就会查询 Gencode 19 人类基因注释，确定该基因的 UniProt ID。随后从 UniProtKB 数据库获取基因全名和蛋白质功能等基本信息，并在大约一秒内以简短说明的形式显示在选中的基因符号上方。
