详细介绍

Show notable forks of GitHub projects. Lovely Forks shows you when a GitHub project has a notable fork, right under the repository name. Projects often get abandoned while development carries on in a fork, but the original repository rarely says so. It usually has more stars and ranks higher in search, so it's easy to file pull requests against a dead project or install an old, buggy version without realizing the community has moved on. On every GitHub repository page, Lovely Forks adds a small line under the title: also forked to someone/project ★42 • Links to the fork with the most stars, if it has enough to be worth noticing. • Shows a flame icon when that fork looks more up to date than the original (it has more commits the original doesn't than the other way round). Options: • Minimum stars a fork needs before it's shown. • Repositories where it should never show a fork. • Only show the note when the original repository's last commit is older than a given number of days. • Indent the note under the repository name. Privacy: Lovely Forks only calls GitHub's public API for the repository you're viewing. It collects no data and sends nothing anywhere else. Results are cached in your browser for an hour to keep API use down. Open source: https://github.com/musically-ut/lovely-forks
