Download All PDFs is the fastest way to collect every PDF that’s accessible across your open tabs – no manual tab-by-tab hunting required.
- Scans everything: Crawls all open tabs (foreground and background) to discover PDFs.
- Finds hidden sources: Detects PDFs behind links, inside iframes, and embedded viewers.
- One-click download: Queue and download all found PDFs at once.
- Smart organization: View results grouped by tab and source page so you know where each file came from.
How it works
1. Open the pages you want scanned (no need to open each PDF itself).
2. Click the extension button to scan all open tabs.
3. Review the found PDFs and start downloading – files will download in sequence.
Tip for smooth downloading
For best results, turn off Chrome’s “Ask where to save each file before downloading” (Chrome > Settings > Downloads). Otherwise, you’ll see a save dialog for each file.
What it can scan
- PDFs linked from the page (direct links)
- PDFs embedded via iframes or viewers (e.g., PDF.js, Google Drive viewers)
- PDFs already open in tabs (visible or hidden)
What to expect
- Works across the tabs you have open at the time of scanning.
- Respects page access – content behind logins or paywalls still requires access.
